Extreme continuously exposing to the sun will lead to the death of skin cells and which eventually increase the production of melanin.
As time goes on, the accumulated dead cells with melanin in the surface of the hyper-pigmented areas of the skin will cause brown spots to appear. These brown spots and yellowish complexion are what make one's skin look dull and old. I've been reading a lot that hydroquinone is dangerous and potentially carcinogenic. Instead, they've been recommending kojic acid or alpha arbutin. Do you know which one is most effective?

The first thing everyone should do is research. And to ensure the success of the treatment, consult a dermatologist. Avoid hydroquinone or products with hydroquinone as these may result in liver failure, cancer, and other harmful diseases. Better be safe than sorry
